FULL TIME
Barcelona are out of the Europa League. Eintracht Frankfurt were the better side on the night and deservedly go through. The Catalans were slow to get going while the Germans showed intensity throughout.
Minute 90+9: GOAL – BARCELONA
Depay scores from the spot for Barcelona.
Minute 90+4: Araujo has a chance
Jordi Alba cuts it back to Araujo in the box unmarked but his strike is blocked by the defender and Luuk de Jong is offside on the rebound.
Minute 90: GOAL – BARCELONA
Busquets scores and this time it counts! An incredible strike from the defensive midfielder. But it’s too little too late for the hosts.
Minute 84: Busquets goal disallowed
Busquets thinks he has got Barcelona back into the game with a close range strike but it is eventually ruled out by VAR for offside.
Minute 75: Kamada goes close
It’s all Eintracht now and Kamada goes close with a fine long-range effort from outside the box.
Minute 67: GOAL – EINTRACHT FRANKFURT
Kostic scores again, and it’s surely game over now. Barcelona’s defence falls asleep from a throw-in, with Dest slow to get out to the eventual scorer who fires powerfully across goal and into the corner.
Minute 62: Double change from Xavi
Xavi makes two chances: Mingueza and Aubameyang make way for Adama and Dest.
Minute 57: Ter Stegen keeps Barcelona alive
A fast breakaway from Eintracht leaves them with a big chance but Ter Stegen makes the save with his legs.
Minute 46: Second half begins with a big chance
Dembele causes havoc down the right again. His wicked cross across goal gets a minor touch off the Eintracht defender, taking it off the toe of Aubameyang.
HALF TIME
Eintracht have a big lead at the break, with an early penalty from Kostic followed by thunderbolt from Borre just before the break. Barcelona have it all to do in the second period.
Minute 38: GOAL – EINTRACHT FRANKFURT
The visitors are 2-0 up at the Camp Nou! Borre unleashes a thunderous strike from 30 yards out and it flies into the top corner beyond Ter Stegen.
Minute 35: Knauff causing problems
Knauff, who scored a screamer in the first leg, goes on a fine marauding run down the right. The full back cuts inside onto his left foot before striking on goal, but Ter Stegen saves it.
Minute 25: Kostic strikes on target
Frankfurt counter down the left, ending with Kostic having an effort on goal. It’s comfortably gathered by Ter Stegen, however.
Minute 17: Araujo effort denied
A freekick from Alba is initially cleared by the German defence but only as far as Araujo, who attempts a first-time volley which is tipped over the bar by Trapp.
Minute 9: Big chance for Auba
Dembele cuts in from the right and delivers a fine cross for his partner in crime Aubameyang, but the striker heads over.
